Dutch Courses Conversation & Grammar

We offer online Dutch courses for higher educated expats weekly from Monday to Friday evening. We work in small groups with certified, native teachers. We focus on conversation, grammar and a good time in class!

Certified teacher & small group

We work with certified, native teachers that have guided many students towards becoming good friends with the Dutch language. The classes are online in a small group of 4 or 7 people. This gives you the benefits and fun of learning in a group as well as the advantage of personal attention when needed and space to ask your questions!

Focus on conversation and grammar

In all our groups we focus on conversation and grammar. This does not mean there is no reading or writing, it just means there is more attention for speaking and listening exercises that are applicable daily life, so you can connect in your daily Dutch life. We will help you gain confidence to feel comfortable speaking in social situations. And we will help you expand your vocabulary and improve your pronuncation and fluency. Our grammar classes will give you the solid foundation you need.

Structure of the courses

Our regular courses are 2 hours per week, so will have enough time left to spend on your work, family and social life! Courses start at 19.00h or 20.00h. Some courses are 2 hours on 1 evening, others 2 hours on 1 evening. If you do a fast course you will have 2 hours on 2 evenings. The more you invest in homework, the more you harvest. Put in 1 hour of preparation per hour of class and you will advance well.

Courses are 6 to 13 weeks. They have different lengths so you can adapt your course to what you need. If you truly engage in the group program, you can advance from A0 to A1 in 13 weeks. Or from A0+ to A1 in 9 weeks. For A1 to A2 it will take you 13 to 18 weeks. Or 6 weeks in a Fast course. The course for the Inburgering Exam is also 6 weeks. It always depends on the work you put in and your starting level.

For A2-B1 and B1-B2 you will need about 3 to 4 courses of 9 or 12 weeks to level up a whole level. Of course this also depends on your starting level and your amount of self study. So if you are already half way, you only need 1 or 2 courses. We will offer you new material in every course.

Books

Which book you work with depends on your level. We also offer an online learning environment, where your teacher will offer extra learning materials and you can hand in homework.

What will you learn in every level?
